verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18
In
everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus for you.
Throughout
the Bible, believers are taught the importance of giving God thanks
at all times, for everything, in all circumstances. Despite reports
of homelessness and hunger, America is still the most blessed
country in the world. We must not take for granted the abundance
God has bestowed upon this nation.
To
ensure we never forget how good God is, we need to name our physical
and spiritual blessings, and give Him thanks for each one of them.
Thank God for His love, mercy and grace. Thank him for the gift
of salvation, and a victorious life in Christ. Develop the habit
of giving God thanks in all things: Good and bad times; happy
and sad times; when there is abundance and when there is lack.
When we sprinkle our prayers, praise, and worship with thanksgiving,
we give God glory!
