Scripture: Psalms 116

Focus Verse: Psalms 116:12 "What can I render unto the Lord for all His benefits towards me."

What can I offer the Lord for all He has done for me? (NLT)

As believers we show our gratitude to our awesome God by praising Him, and by giving Him thanks in all things. "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning, Your faithfulness in the evening." (Ps. 92:1-2)

We do not wait till the Thanksgiving Holiday to give thanks, but use our lips daily to offer up sacrifices of praise to God. We praise Him for who He is, for His divine nature, His love and compassion. We praise God for our salvation and faith to receive His gift of eternal life.

Despite life's problems and the many adversities facing believers, we will do as Hebrews 13: 15-16 commands: "With Jesus' help, let us continually offer our sacrifice of praise to God by proclaiming the glory of His name. Don't forget to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God.
